Montgomery Moody is found dead in his plush presidential train car. Join the Union County Playmakers at Treehouse Vineyards in Monroe on Thursday, Oct. 12 for this Mystery “Picnic’ Theater, directed by Joe McCourt, and help us solve the crime!
Moody was a titan of industry. The presidential train car carries the rich and famous to their destination. But on this trip, someone makes a permanent alteration to the industrialist’s career. His body is found early one morning still holding a crystal champagne glass, with his solid silver cigarette case in the pocket of his robe. This creates the setting for the perfect “who done it?”
Ticket holders may show up at 6 p.m. to socialize, enjoy the Treehouse Vineyards’ wines, and your picnics. The show begins around 7 p.m. when the international cast of murder suspects make their entrance.
Tickets are $20. You may purchase them online at www.unioncountyplaymakers.org and reserve your table at that time. Treehouse Vineyards is at 301 Bay Street, Monroe. Performance space is a covered outdoor pavilion with tables for eight, six, four, or two. Dress for open-air comfort, rain or shine.
